(pronounced i /k?l?'rædo?/ or, i /k?l?'r??do?/) is a U.S. state that encompasses most of the Southern Rocky Mountains as well as the northeastern portion of the Colorado Plateau and the western edge of the Great Plains. Colorado is part of the Western United States, the Mountain States, and the Southwestern United States.
Heritage for the Blind is a non-profit organization serving the blind and visually impaired in Colorado. Our mission is to provide the tools necessary to help the blind and visually impaired in Colorado independently explore and participate fully in society.
Heritage for the blind can also help individuals in CO search over 1650 local, state and federal programs that can help with expenses such as prescription drugs, rent, heating bills, meals, medical costs, veteran’s benefits and Alzheimer’s care in CO.
