Heritage for the Blind is a non-profit organization serving the blind and visually impaired. Our mission is to assist in providing the tools necessary to help the blind and visually impaired independently explore and participate fully in society.

We are proud to introduce the National Visually Impaired Registry (NVIR). Individuals that register will receive free information on local and national non profits that may be able to provide free or low cost assistance.

In addition individuals who register can receive assistance from Heritage for the blind to search local, state and federal programs that can help with expenses such as prescription drugs, rent, heating  bills, meals, medical costs, veteran’s benefits and Alzheimer’s care.
