Mark your laundry machines with tactual markers.If you are a braille reader, you can contact the manufacturer of your machines and ask if they make a braille panel for your particular model. These panels are often free-of-charge with the braille actually embossed on the metal panel, and can be exchanged with the original panel on your machine.
Individual Measuring CupsIf you own a large measuring device with markings for specific measurements you may find the lettering on the side, usually in red, is hard to read. The best way to measure any liquid or powder when you have lost your vision is to use individual measuring cups that nest inside each other.
Lid of Detergent Container You can also use the lid of the laundry detergent or fabric softener as a measuring device.
